an indigenous company with a major stake in road construction duly seek the services of civil engineers who are resident in any oof Edo, Delta & River State for immediate employment
Responsibilities
• Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
• Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
• Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
• Assess potential risks, materials and costs
• Provide professional advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
• Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
• Hand over the resulting completed structures and services for use
• Monitor progress and compile reports in project status (technical and progress reports on periodical basis)
• Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
• Comply with civil engineering code of practice (design, safety and economy of the given structures etc.) and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required

Requirements
• Proven working experience in civil engineering especially as regard road construction
• Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
• Project management and supervision skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of civil systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Basic understanding of all phases of engineering document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications (Bill of Engineering Measurement and Evaluation)
• Must be proactive and be a good team player.
• Must be ready to travel around the country.
• Job Location will vary according to project location
