The Kaduna State House of Assembly has rejected the nomination of Aliyu Jafar as commissioner of agriculture because he could not defend his Facebook posts in which he previously criticised the government of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai. Governor El-Rufai nominated Jafar for the position of commissioner of agriculture, but at his screening today, Jafar was asked about his previous Facebook posts.
