There are ways to go, the smooth and yet crooked paths to take, but how do we make it to that stake, who will show us the wake, when mother says, she is taking a journey to that yonder town. Mother! Mother!! Please return quickly her lilies says to her, their faces looking up to hers filled with genuine sorrow, not with words spoken, but with eyes popped out in crimson red, silver tear raid, such as could stop a storm. Yet mama says, she has to leave.
This journey, is it so important? more important than your lilies!? She hears frail voices ask, not with words of mouth, but hearts that pant, and pound with the hope of hearing a No. But alas! The silence that comes after is a blast. We could hear the drum pound with no one touching it,
The keys of the guitar and the mahogany piano play with no professional fingers on them, then a pin drops and the sound, almost deafening against the silence in the hall.
