The strength of Football is undeniably extraordinary that some persons try to stay away from it, maybe cos they feel its an addiction! It's saddening to tell any hater of football as we still have a very minuscule amount of them that this same dislike you hold against the sport has proven beyond doubt to be a major source of Peace over the years!

Am sure very little of us know that it was football that did bring an end to the wars rampaging Ivory Coast in 2005. After their victory in the 2005 world cup qualifiers against Sudan; ivory coast gave their country a sense of oneness and unison when Drogba the star player gave that famous speech in the dressing room and Ivory coast became united and fought for a common Peace!
Did you also know Pele's Santos team of Brazil when they traveled across Africa for friendlies matches with national teams; came to Nigeria during the civil war and for once during that war: a 24hrs ceasefire was agreed between Nigeria and the Biafra sect! Even according to the god of football as often called; Pele was filled with Admiration for what this sport could achieve!
No wonder He called it 'the Beautiful game'

The strength of Soccer and sport in entire is beautiful and it one of our strongest weapon to Peace as a nation, country and world entirely!
