Na because you be mumu na. You wasted a golden opportunity to change Nigeria for ever amd then allowed Buharig, Jega Jega and Tinubu to rub you of an election you won while allowing some yehyeh women to delegitimize your government.

the worst mistake he made is trying to use the confab as a bargaining chip

True

The good thing is that GEJ convened the confab and it produced a report, which has been thrown into the dustbin by Buhari.

GEJ has no excuse
He should have pass it to the senate and let the senate incure the blame but he was only using the confab to buy time and sympathy vote

Useless retard who claimed Nigeria did not need a national conference while he was campaigning in 2011, but quickly constituted one that was a white elephant to help highlight our ethnic differences as a means to hold on to his voting block for the 2015 election.

He failed woefully.

Jonathan is still talking. Lots of mistakes he made actually responsible for where we are today. He should just keep his cool.

A report the PDP led National Assembly already deemed illegal while a legitimate legislature existed?

What stopped the Ineffectual Buffoon from being effective in its implementation before his tenure expired?

Keep quiet, the report of the confab was submitted to him in July 2014, that was 9 good months before the expiration of his tenure in 2015. Not everyone is a Dundee like una

Most of them just comment, without knowing the details of the thread.

There is no way GEJ could have implemented that report that had over 600 recommendations in an election year when the legislators were all out campaigning.

The good thing is that the report is there for future administrations to implement. That alone is something, a report is better than no report

Has the current APC regime done any better with the report after 4 years?

What is APC's business with a report it did not support or author?

Has APC ever identified with Jonathan's baggage? Did Buhari/APC ever tell you it has any agenda for Jonathan's conference report?

Did Trump/Republicans not cancel a nuclear deal that Obama/Democrats signed with the Iranians? Has Trump/Republicans not been trying their best to undo Obamacare?

So if Jonathan had any intention for his politically motivated conference and report, he would have done the implementation himself, just as Obasanjo would have done so with his own National Conference report.

When next you see another Nigerian President claiming to set up a National Conference while a legitimate National Legislature exist, scream Scaaaaaaaaaam!

APC has restructuring as one of its pledges in its party manifesto and the confab was about restructuring. GEJ has already done half of the work of convening the people of Nigeria to a conference which produced a report. Why has APC not acted on.thst report despite its restructuring promise?

GEJ may not have been the best of presidents but he was a million times better that the current administration of lies and hopelessness

Why did Jonathan not act on the National Conference report of Obasanjo, since the immediate successive government with him as Vice President, took over from OBJ, and he later became President under the same political party and manifesto as the OBJ government?

Why did Jonathan have to reinvent the wheel by constituting his own conference whose report he failed to act on?
