Oh no! not again.
What nonsense rending the air,
On my radio,I couldn’t bear the noise
On my TV,those faces don’t fit.

So,I smashed my radio on the ground
And broke my TV screen
because these pains are too much for me to bear
too much for me to swallow.

It reminds me of the past and the present
millions frittered on projects
billions being catered away
millions dying to live
billions living to die.
The tears,the pains,the blood of the innocents being lost
ache my head
riot my thinking.

His voice their voices
sound the same
and they are all the same.

Now that I know who they are
so I cocked my sniper,
the one the party bought for us
against the opposition,
standing naked, I didn’t even know,
I dashed to the corridor
seeing my target distinctively clear
through the telescope
amidst of the sycophants
singing his praise
so I aimed
squeezing the trigger, the first click,
but I mustn’t stain my hand
to clean this dirt
so the sound…the two shots just to the air
rocked the atmosphere!

Just a warning to stay off my street…off my life!

The police came and drove me to the station
for attempted murder!
What could be my defense than to say
that I’m mad,
mad at everyone around me
mad at every happening
It drags me wild,
It drags me crazy,
It could make me smash,
It could make me break,
and it could make me cock a gun
and possibly set off a bomb!

What a jaded deluded youth I’ve been nurtured to be
Please don’t blame me,
For what they’ve been doing to my generation
Got me mad and into this.

And if only they would care to listen and see
There is another disoriented guy on the street
strapped with a bomb
to detonate himself among the glitterati.

Hey! Don’t panic and
to arrest the situation
don’t shoot the youth…d MEN
We could all stop him
We could all win his heart
let him know that
two wrongs can’t make a right
that there has never been a bad peace or a good war
that your Goodluck would right the wrong
That the young shall smile to age
that the old would coyly giggle to rest
