Purpose:
With a clear focus on continued and increased members, the CEO is responsible for the
leadership and the successful delivery of a strategic growth plan which will be adopted
by the board. The CEO will also be responsible for leading the implementation of future
strategic plans and will develop key partner relationships for the organization.
In addition, the CEO will be responsible for the development and implementation of
annual operating and financial plans including key stakeholder investment.

Person Specification
Minimum of 5 years successful management experience, preferably (but not essential)
in a sports related environment;
Exceptional people management skills with a demonstrable ability to motivate staff and build teamwork;

Proven experience of innovation and converting ideas to reality.
Experience of strategic/business planning, delivery and monitoring;
Proven experience of managing change and making things happen.
Track record of building effective relationships with internal and external partners;
Proven ability in the preparation, management and monitoring of budgets;
Evidence of research, analytical and decision-making skills;
Sound organizational and planning skills.
Demonstrable interpersonal and communication skills;
Proven ability to work with others, motivate, provide direction and influence.
An ability to demonstrate confidence, enthusiasm and initiative
Ability to undertake flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
