The Ebonyi state governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE has shown excitement on the return of water to the taps in Abakaliki metropolis. He made Ebonyians jubilate when he orders nonstop on the latest development.

According to him, it is part of the dividends of democracy which his administration is bringing to his people. You will recall that before the coming of Gov. Umahi’s administration, getting clean water was a herculean task in Abakaliki zone of the state which resulted in some people suffering several kinds of water borne diseases but his administration is doing everything possible to provide permanent solution to the challenge.
