The former Deputy Governor of Imo State His Excellency Prince Eze Madumere MFR has thrown his support behind the Imo Sanitation Planning Sensitization and Impementation Committee (ImoSPIC) towards the July Clean-up Exercise by donating Mack Trucks for the exercise.

In a phone conversation with the Chairman of the Committee Dr Ikedi Ohakim, the former Deputy Governor expressed his delight and support for the efforts towards restoring and recapturing the environment.

He further agreed to sponsor several Mack Trucks which would be used for the Clean-up Exercise.

ImoSPIC have called on the general public to assist the Committee towards provision of sanitation equipment, trucks and other machinery and equipment to be used for the sanitation exercise.

So far several organizations operating in Imo State and private individuals have expressed their support and willingness to sponsor the exercise and return Imo as the cleanest State in the Federation.

His Excellency Ikedi Ohakim is not an errand boy to His Excellency RT. HON. EMEKA IHEDIOHA, Ohakim volunteered himself for the services of Imo State especially in the environmental sector, where he excelled during his reign as the Imo state governor, he has delivered a lot of lectures on environmental issues across the world, recently his paper work on environmental was implemented in Rwanda.
