The South West helped install a Military Dictator because of their hate of GEJ whom they perceived as being “Igbo”. They are smart enough to know the consequences of installing a military dictator in a democracy, let alone a known feudalist. Just because of their hate of Igbo and anything that appears to be Igbo. They deployed their intelligentsia and media assets and that was it. GEJ was regime-changed and Buhari, a sworn feudalist became President of a multiethnic country.

Whatever Nigeria becomes in the next 3 years should be blamed solely on them, not even the North. The North isn’t to be blamed— they rejected Buhari thrice and warned that he isn’t fit for President. The “beautiful” thing about the impending Somalisation of Nigeria (God forbid) is that it will also swallow the South West. Perhaps that’s the lesson they need to help them stop with the Igbo hate.

This weak man needs to step down, his tenure has so far been marked with so much bloodshed and incompetence on all levels, gross negligence and dereliction of duty by his office and disrespect for the rule of law. He is not a leader nor a Democrat, just another power drunk, incompetent nigerian amongst many, with an insatiable thirst for human blood

The problem is not about sending an "inexperienced Corper" to cover such event.
I recall that prior to the 2015 Presidential elections, another EXPERIENCED Channels Reporter was shot (though he survived, crippled) at a PDP rally in Portharcourt (cant recall his name now), so it is not about the "level of experience" per-say.

The problem is that you dont expect Shites, people who said they were conducting a PEACEFUL PROTESt, to start shooting at people!
They shot and killed a Police Deputy Commissioner of Police on the same day, can we say a DCP is "not experienced" as well, for getting shot and killed by the same Shiites?

We need to look at what is about to happen before our eyes now:
This Shiites are becoming "dangerous and militant" and the trend is that they are getting bolder.
It is said that "a half-blinded eye causes more trouble than two eyes left untouched".
If you are going to blind an eye, make sure it is the two eyes and they are completely blinded.

President Buhari is starting a problem he seems too detached to finish and he is going to saddle the nest Govt after him, with a second Boko Haram debacle!
The Shiites have been reported to have a "Camp" where they undergo military training and weapons handling (reason they could shoot at Police and anything in sight).
They have been reported to be getting funding from a "foreign Govt" thus they will be difficult to just wished-away.

But Buhari is so selfish and self-centered that his first priority is to PERSONALLY LOOK GOOD (just like Trump!), irrespective of what the process of making himself look good, will cause others involved.

Why keep the Shiite leader all these while, if you have nothing against him?

Why not just obey the Court order to release him? Is it something "personal" tha Buhari is trying to achieve with El Zacky or is he just following the dictates of a foreign 'religious' Power, a "Sunni" Saudi Arabia in this case?

And if you have "something" against him, why not approach the Court Judge "in private" (assuming it is one of those security matters that cant be discussed in open court) and let the Court issue and re-issue detention warrants that fits the Bill (it can be done, if you can convince the Judge but dont go before another Shiite-sympathising Judge o! grin ).

Not doing either of the above is what is causing this nonsense that is brewing and about to explode!
I for one will never tolerate any group of people, be they Christian or Muslim, Shiite or Sunni or whatever, that "takes on the Security Forces" when the issue is not "existential" for them (like if the Security Forces are out to exterminate you in a genocidel manner) and you have no choice than to stay alive by defending yourselves till death.

For a group of fanatics to be allowed to become so emboldened that they would murder a whole DCP and kill a Journalist by use of ammunition, is a redline that should never have been crossed and l will visit the full weight of security on them ASAP.

But Buhari is afraid of having "bad publicity" so he does not want to act or do the right thing under the current circumstances.

Buhari has behaved in this manner on so many occassions, even within his own party (remember the Ogun Sate problem betwen Amosu who was campaigning for another party's candidate while still remianing in the APC and campaigning for Buhari at the same time?), as long as it benefits him personally, he pretends as if everything is fine and the rest of you can go to blazes.

Buhari should PLEASE RELEASE this El Zakky (as instructed by the Court) and spare us the bloodshed that is about to start,"IF and I"F he cannot do what is necessary to PRESERVE THE PEACE and stamp out the audacity that allows a group of protesters to use weapons against the Police, the Press and members of the public.
The President's INDICISIVENESS is going to cuase Nigerians a lot of bloodshed, unnecessary bloodshed because the Shiites have tasted blood now and are not about to stop, seeing that the President has decided not to act.

In some jurisdiction, once you kill a member of the force with a weapon, no matter what your initial grouse was, no matter how genuine and worhy your cause is, you have crossed the red line and have become a domestic terrorist and the next people you have to deal with, is the SWAT or Special Forces. Infact, you and your group members are as good as dead.

Anyway, l guess he is not even paying attention to what is going on, he is too busy trying to formulate his next deceptive RUGA MOVE. grin grin

Stop saying this nonsesne again, abeg.

Who stood by Jonathan in 2009, when Yar Ardua died and his wife Turai and her "cabals" prevented Jonathan from even sitting on the seat of the President, so that Turai can keep acting as President? Was it not Yorubas like Obasanjo, Wole Soyinka, etc?
If not for these Yorubas that emboldened Jonathan, do you ever think he would assume that position of President in 2009?
Where were the "brave" Igbos back them?

Again, in 2011, Who did the Yorubas vote for, when Jonathan won the Presidential election or was it the minuscle Igbo vote that made him President? Did the Yorubas not vote for him em-masse, before he now turned against them when he was "christened" an Igbo President"?

Basically, Yorubas installed Jonathan in 2009 and then elected him again in 2011 for another four years.
But Jonathan was a disappointment and a disaster of a different kind.
Imagine if Jonathan has performed, how will anyone think of voting for Buhari, someone they had all rejected THREE TIMES in the past!

It takes a very, very woeful Jonathan performance, to make Buhari a VIABLE alternative, a very, very bad alternative that was till better than the disaster that was Jonathan.
While Buhari is a feudalist, Fulani bigot and nepotistic disaster, Jonathan was an unparalleled economic disaster, an "ATM that does not require a PIN", with a klptomaniac for a wife.

BTW: Igbos hate themselves more than any other person hates them...otherwise they would have voted for Kingsley Moghalu, an Igbo son contesting in the same Presidential election that they all lined-up behind and voted for a Fulani (Atiku).
If you IGBOS cant vote for such an "Igbo son" who is very educated, exposed and articulate, not to mention his younger age, you have no business accusing other of not voting for an Igbo contestant.
It is called HYPOCRICy and Double-talk

Apart from that... After he was shot they were able to save him with life for some time... How come there was no hospital within the the radius of FCT that can rescue him... I still maintain my view that our hospitals cannot treat beyond typhoid and malaria.

Exactly. This reminds me of Enenche their reporter that died years ago when Boko Haram just started. Oh! I cried so hard cos we were all watching when the bullet hit him. He was also a very young reporter. I thought they learnt their lesson.
