Zinedine Zidane’s comments about Gareth Bale
were remarkable but by this point we should no
longer be surprised.
"We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for
everyone,” said Zidane on Sunday. "I have nothing
personal against him, but there comes a time where
things are done because they must be done."
The comments marked the end of the cold war
between Bale and Real Madrid and the first shots
