Of course he has to be a British citizen. A non-citizen can't be the prime minister of any country. My emphasis was on his origin.

The British should have listened to David Cameron. Mr Johnson too will resign in a year after realizing he won't be able to offer them what he has promised as Mrs May also failed.

That's if his relationship palava doesn't force him to resign earlier.

While I agree the liberals have done a lot of damage, I don't agree with labeling Boris as far right. This is a classic liberal tactic supported by the liberal media to label everyone against globalization or with opposing views as far right which is just not true. The other tactic is to claim racism, fascism, Nazism etc which shuts down discussion.

...he may look ditsy and harmless but he is very intelligent, calculated and classist - hellbent on driving the working class and minorities out of London to gentrify the city. The UK’s economic hub.

...on a lighter note...he has been compared as trump mark II...but much more intelligent than trump...
