Former Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, Joe Abah, has said that he is ‘quite relieved’ not to have been named in President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial nominees’ list.

The list was made public on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday, Igbere TV reports.

Responding to a tweet that said he would have made a difference among the ministers, Abah said: “Thanks, my brother. To be perfectly honest with you, I am actually quite relieved.”

Abah had on July 10 revealed his expectations in President Buhari’s second term in office.

He said he was hoping to see ‘major, disruptive and transformative interventions in electricity, jobs, security and education’, adding that incremental progress in the aforementioned areas would not be sufficient for him.

“In the next 4 years of the Buhari government, I will be looking for major, DISRUPTIVE and transformative interventions in Electricity, Jobs, Security and Education. Incremental progress in these areas will be insufficient for me,” Abah said.

I am sadden too @Madrid guy did not make the list. atleast Dr. Joe Abah once served as Director-General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms.

When his tenure as DG was coming to an end, people on twitter started an e petition for him to be reappointed and he publicly begged for them to stop because he didn't want to continue.
