In the space of six months, that is, between January and June 2019, the Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operation Unit, Ikeja, Lagos declared to have seized goods worth N18,252,294,879 that violated the import procedures of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Within this same period, the unit has collected the sum of N147,357,751.50 as revenue into the coffers of the government. This was made known in the mid-year performance record released by the Unit and signed by the O/C Record/Statistics, Mrs. M.C. Anozia as published by Port News Nigeria. Learn More!
