One of my preferred vacation destination spots I wouldn't care for you to miss when you are in Ghana is the Paga Crocodile Pond in the Northern Region. Bolgatanga which is exceptionally near the Burkina Faso outskirt. This well-known pond is loaded up with the absolute greatest crocodiles on the planet. As per history and some legend, one of the old crocodiles of this pond spared the life of the primary man who settled in the zone, by driving him to the pond to extinguish his thirst from a long adventure.



After that occurrence, the man proclaimed the lake be consecrated and the crocodiles sought to be treated like royals. Up till now, it’s forbidden to damage or slaughter these reptiles. It is accepted that the most seasoned crocodile is about 85years old.

Situated in the north-eastern outskirt of Ghana, Paga is a hallowed crocodile asylum. In spite of the fact that crocodiles are considered as wild animals, the Paga crocodiles are agreeable and exist together with people. The agreeable connection between the crocodiles and people keep on confounding the psyches of many. This is as opposed to the view of crocodiles as perilous.
