in order to best understand a philosophy, religion, or cult,it is necessary to go back to it's beginnings, to consider it's origin---its foundation's and forefathers.

There are two divisions of Freemasonry: operative and speculative. Operative masonry refers to actual stonemasons who possessed the skills and art of stonecutting and setting, traceable back to the Tower of Babel.According to God's word,the tower was not of God's design, but Satan's handwork. Tracing the art of stonemasonry, through time we come to the pyramid's of Egypt, Mexico, and South America. Secular history conforms that the religion of the ancient stonemasons from Egypt and Babel was pagan worship. Carrying the operative art to the building and rebuilding of King Solomon's temple between 949 B.c.and 520 B.c.the skilled artisans for king Solomon's temple had to be taken from Phoenicia, a country now known as Lebanon. The religion of that country was Baal worship, originating from the Egyptian's.

It is important to pause a minutes at king Solomon's temple. It is upon this that Freemasonry, as it exists.today,bases much of it's degree work.king Solomon-is Freemasonry's first most excellent Grand master------ since king Solomon knew little about cedars cutting or stonecutting, he made a covenant with Hiram,king of Tyre,in the country of Phoenicia this along with the marriage of king Solomon to pharaoh daughter, as recorded in 1 kings,,....

BRANCHES OF FREEMASONRY AND KNIGHTS TEMPLAR.

When a man submits his application to masonry, it is only for the first degree's. All other degrees must be applied for separately. This can be done only after the third degree is reached. It is significant to note here that no woman can be made a Mason. This is stated both as a part of the third degree obligation and in the eighteenth landmark of masonry. The Mason must be a man, freeborn, at least twenty one years of age, and not physically impaired as to prevent him from making the various due guards, or movements, and sign's are part of the rituals of the first three degrees of Freemasonry.

The first three degrees are called ''Entered Apprentice,, '' Fellowcraft ,'' and ''master Mason.''Each degree is received upon having passed the examination in the previous degree. After a candidate take's his first degree, he must attend a class to memorize the various aspects of the degree through which he has gone, including a variety of blood, curdling oath's. Eventing is taught orally;nothing can be written down. One could spend two to three hours a night for two weeks memorizing all the pagan rituals for each degree. Examination is in open lodge with members and officers present. One must pass before he can proceed to the next degree.
If a member of Freemasonry does not pay his dues to the Blue lodge, he loses his privileges to attend in good standing all other branches of Freemasonry. In the Blue lodge, all candidate's for membership must participate in the rituals. This is also true of York Rite Masonry
