Hogwash. Even if angles ruled Nigeria it won't change one bit. Nigeria was never created to prosper.

I don't agree. Yes he won the election. Yes he was widely supported by Nigerians both in the north and south.

However, all these are not enough for us to say he would have been a great leader.

The problem is Nigerians have really short memory. This is a man that stole funds that would have helped the common man. Used the money to enrich himself. Came back spraying the money around because he had political agenda and the same common man who was robbed in the first place said he was generous. To me that is far from being generous.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, we do not know if Abiola would have made a good leader. I for one would agree with Fela when it comes to Abiola because he wasn't wrong about Obasanjo who came back as a civilian president and was still a thief.

Obviously, u relied on too much hearsay. Y not pick literatures and do some interviews to understand how Abiola made his money?
The fact that he owed no one before becoming president was another reason that powers that be would not allow him. His allegiance would have been to the Nigerian people.
Please do more research. Cheers

Which others? You mean the youths that can't see past their ethnic affiliation and curse each others ethnic groups on social media?

Or the youths that are busy calling themselves Marlians and dancing to "soapy" music?

When and if I find like minds, maybe...just maybe...
God bless you.

Except you are actively searching and uplifting many to that level already

Buhari always patronizing people, what is the big deal about naming national monument after a Abiola, after all the past administration wanted to do that with a university in Lagos. The principal duty of government is protection of life and property, and advancement of humanity. Can he claim is has delivered on any of his campaign promises, some of which he has denied ever promising. The country need new thinking, we need philosophers, people of higher thinking in government. Not an analog president in fast moving jet age. A president who sits in Aso Rock like a king and leave communication to his over zealous assistants. No wonder there is always denial and refuting of comments from his assistants. Buhari can't unify our country in pursuit of common goal. A country where we recognize and respect our diversity and allow for natural trust among the people.

Whose money did MKO steal? Someone who never held a public office. Go and do a little research, please.

For your information, there was a time a town in the north was embroiled in serious chaos and people could not move out of their homes. The whole town was like a ghost land. At a great risk to his life, he picked his plane, flew to the northern town and held a meeting with the main person involved in the issue and that was the end of the matter.
MKO was the biggest bridge builder this country has ever known.

Abiola was a thief who joined the evil military leaders to loot the treasury of the country. You people can try to paint him as a saint but the facts are just the facts, Abiola was a big participant in the looting of Nigeria's wealth

Even if Abiola won the election twenty times he will never become Nigeria president.
Even if he travel to Jupiter to do juju he will never become president.
Even if the whole world voted him in he will never become Nigeria president.

Now that you're the president does it mean Abiola would have been better than you??
What would posterity remember you for?
