Seun, I trust you're good.
I believe a mobile concept like this can improve engagement on NL and increase her vast membership base.
I am wondering if you will embrace this project.
I invested quite a lot of time into this and I'll love to hear your opinion on it. Be it good or otherwise.
Thanks.

I just downloaded the app. I love your work.
It's fast.

If I want to learn something like this which Resource can I refer to?

Thanks for the feedback. You can drop a rate/review on Google play in that regards.

Well, there are various sites and a ton of materials on each. I recommend you visit Google Developer Website on getting started on Android Application Development.

If you need more information, chat me up on the app.

You should have posted pictures for us to see it, how many will take the time to go download just for the sake of viewing?

I’m not trying to discourage you bro but designing an app for nairaland is not being innovative. Nairaland does not want to move on, so move on bro. Channel your skill to a more productive adventure. You’re not the first that will design an app for nairaland and it’ll end up with others inside the trash.
I believe a lot of skills and manpower went into creating the app and you’ve learned a lot during the process. I’ll advise you to move on with your skills as nairaland is stuck in the dark ages

Nairaland is a site with great resource with thousands of contributor that has impacted on a lot of lives... Why call it trash?

Website is not all about beauty. Nairaland was built to deliver content with speed of light with simplicity in mind.

I guess remaining on the top 10 sites (in Nigeria) for over a decade fully spells the definition of Innovation. NL is powered by its content. This content is the fuel that brings traffic and anything that can bring traffic consistently is Innovative.

Many other sites have come and gone. NL remains relevant and strong. Seun has done a good job of keeping the site simple and perfect that's that's kudos to him. Well, it's business.

The app makes sense. You should use it more often and appreciate the presence of NL.

Thanks for the tip.
However, the work has been done already.
I guess Nairaland will still emerge in Nigeria's Top sites for another decade or two at least.
Well, until another real forum comes.

Visit the diary sections and see how people share their lives and experiences over the years.

Businesses are being transacted on the daily and members are have fun huzzling, yabbing, spamming and also getting banned wink.

Here is a business land in case you haven't realized. Do the stats and see the wow factor.

I am keen on pushing this project forward and see what will become of it.
I really look forward to getting an approval from Seun for the app. It has an unprecedented future and I believe only good will come out of this.

I regularly see this opinion on nairaland. It sounds intelligent but it is fueled by ignorance.

People who know better, understand that Seun is a very intelligent businessman. How many other fora with better feature opened to compete nairaland and are now dead. Seun understand his audience like no other did.

Users of nairaland are not looking for features. They have Facebook, snapchat and Twitter already for that. What the user want and need is a light forum, easy and quick to load (even with a very poor network you can open nairaland in seconds) and pour your mind.

People just want to have a place where they can bash each other, perpetuate their tribal wars and hatred for the government. Seun provides them with that like no other.

Above all, he is very discret and silent, and the members make the forum. He is not a linda ikeji whose forum would be always overshadowed by her own pursuit of fame, thus turning the forum into another blog. Very reason why her forum failed.

Nairaland is very suitable for Nigerians.

You have said it all, this Forum have a going concern of over 20 years.

Seun actually add one or two small features from time to time but he does it inview of those things you mentioned so users can easily access the forum even with poor network or low data.

two issues I have with the app.
1. you can't jump to pages at will, I would like to go for page one to like page 20 , however, with the app you have to go through all pages.
2. if you can have a section where you can change the theme of the apps to different colours that would also be nice .
