Hi guys. So I was reading this and decided to share it. I realized that there are many theories and ideas connected to the issue of personal development and its importance. One of the most interesting was Abraham Maslow’s process of self-actualization.

Mas-low believed that self-actualization relates to an in-built desire that people have to become ‘everything they are capable of being’, their need to reach their full potential as a human being.

In a workplace situation, however, the extent to which people are able to develop depends on certain needs being met; something that he arranged into a hierarchy.

From a series of through research, he concluded that only when one level of personal needs are met can a higher level be developed:
