Most likely due to the fact that while other tribes were fighting against the whites and their slavery, the yorubas were busy selling out their own people in bulk into slavery.

Funny thing was how Ajayi Crowther was sold by fulani ex-slaves after being abducted by same Fulani jihadists.

Crowther and his mother were sold about three times on Yoruba soil before being bought by a yoruba Moslem slaver and sold off separately to Jewish slave traders in Badagary.

Not only were yorubas selling their people en masse to Jewish slavers they were also still selling their own people to Sokoto.

Afonja maintained slave raiding expeditions consisting mainly of Fulani slavers who were assisted by yorubas to raid Yoruba land for slaves to be sold to Sokoto in return for horses.

Afonja's eyes were however set for the lucrative trans atlantic slave trade which he wanted badly to dominate and so his. Revolt and treason on the very Kingdom he was saddled with the responsibility of defending.

Lol.

In Nigeria, over 50 million people are indigenous Hausas and there over 15 million non-indigenous Hausa speakers.

Currently, it is the second most spoken language in Africa after Arabic and about 70 million are indigenous speakers.

I don't know what you guys want to achieve by spreading fake lies.

Did the Yoruba population in diaspora buy a ticket to the new world or where they not export as farming implements?

Could imply both as a slave settlement/plantation or a slave who has lost his or her cultural identity.

Kano city of old was surrounded by such plantations with most slave inhabitants originally from Southern Kaduna Niger ,, , land and from Yoruba land.

There at still many banzas , Yoruba origin in the no as well.

No. How they got there speaks volumes on the general state of insecurity

Ajayi Crowther was not returned back to yorubaland after he was rescued by the British but rather resettled in Freetown.

The yoruba presence in the new world wasn't by choice or voluntary migration.
