Arafat day, the climax of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, which always falls on the ninth day of Dhu Al Hijja, will fall on Saturday, August 10. Oman announced that Monday, August 12, will be the first day of Eid Al Adha. Friday, August 2, is the 30th day of the Islamic month of Dhu Al Qa'da. The government of Saudi Arabia has declared Saturday, August 10th as Arafat Day, the height of Hajj rites when pilgrims all over the world will converge on the Plain of Arafat for supplications. The Amir- ul Hajj, Lagos State, Dr AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef made the disclosure on Friday at the Lagos State House in Makkah. 1 Share
