Lawmaker In Rivers State Pays #1,834,800 To Waec For 131 Free Gce Registration by Scofield88(m): 9:04am On Aug 06, 2019
LAWMAKER PRESENTS DRAFT OF ONE MILLION, EIGHTH HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED NAIRA (#1,834,800) TO WEST AFRICAN EXAMINATION COUNCIL(WAEC) FOR COMMENCEMENT OF BIOMETRIC REGISTRATION FOR 131 BENEFICIARIES OF BONNY CONSTITUENCY 2019 FREE GCE FORMS.

In passionate continuation of his free educational schemes and in fulfilment of his promise to improve and advance academic pursuits of his Constituents, the Lawmaker representing Bonny constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly Amasenibo Hon Abinye Blessing Pepple was at the office of West Africa Examination Council in Port-Harcourt today to make payment for the registration of beneficiaries of the 2019 Bonny Constituency Free GCE forms distributed weeks ago.

Addressing, the erudite Legislator reaffirmed that, "The passion and importance to sustain our educational programmes can't be over-emphasised, education remains a veritable key and pivotal tool of any developing society, we must continue to significantly strive for our people to access qualitative and quantitative education in all ramification."

Expressing his satisfaction, he said "I am particularly impressed with the tremendous progress and overwhelming milestone achieved so far with the free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) and General Certificate Examination(GCE) schemes and by His Grace it will continue as long as I remain in office".

The Deputy Registrar/Zonal Coordinator of WAEC, Mr. Gershon S. Dandak while recieving the draft, expressed sincere appreciation to the Lawmaker for the continuity and sustenance of his Educational Empowerment Scheme. "You may not understand the vision behind your proactive academic initiatives until these beneficiaries will start graduating from the University, this collaboration is to equip our children academically"

In furtherance he said: "If not for your yearly patronage and consistency WAEC would have considered and closed down the GCE centre in Bonny due to poor Registration. I Congratulate and wish you well in your political endeavours and please say me well to His Majesty the King, Hon. Rodaford LongJohn and your Local Government Chairman for the support and the peaceful disposition of Bonny during our Examination."

To this end and in accordance to text messages sent earlier, beneficiaries of the 2019 Bonny Constituency free GCE forms are to avail themselves for biometric registration scheduled for 10am on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th August 2019, at the Chapel of Government Girls Secondary School, Bonny.

Candidates are also to note that additional money to be paid at centre for print out has been fully paid by "The VOCAL."
