Amy man killed someone from Umuokereke Ngwa in OBINGWA l.g.a of Abia state because of 100naira, the guy ran from Amy check point Ohanze to Umuokereke Ngwa his village, the Amy man still traced him to his home and shot him dead..... there is a heavy protest in Aba, ogbor hill side of Abia state .

The rate these army officers demand bribes now is alarming, they are now worse than the Nigerian police. I often times ply the Wukari-Jalingo-Yola express way and i always wonder at how the army officers demand bribes. Whatever happened to the discipline hitherto associated with the army. What could have gone wrong? Aren't they paid again? Back then, the army was associated with discipline, what exactly went wrong? |

All army check points in South East should be dismantled. They are not serving any purpose for the people. The other day, it was reported that while shooting was ongoing few kilometres away from army check point near UNTH along ENU/PH expressway, and the Soldiers notified, they casually dismissed the info while confirming being aware of the incident as well. Two persons were kidnapped from that incident. |
