Apart from the facts you said, the president is doing nothing unusual. Being human one doesn't expect him to be in shoes 24/7. Secondly, picking teeth is just normal especially at his age. When you lives those ages you will understand what am saying. Honestly l give it a second thought whenever am presented meat to eat, be it beef or chicken, because l will more time picking my teeth than the time l used in eating the meat.
