Islam believe that it was Ishamael according to their Qur'an but Christianity believe it was Isaac according to the bible. Hence any response you get will be according to their believes not what you expect

Quran doesn't say it was Ishmael that was to be sacrificed. Muslims are just the ones trying to twist the story. Why would anyone sensible person believe their own version of the story which they are ow saying thousands of years after the written book of Genesis told it already?

The Written Book, believed by both Christians and Islam, in Genesis, TOLD IT ALREADY!!!

IS is LAMB and is MAN !!!

H is a letter, first in Holiness.
God helmed H in Abram to become Abraham.
God also helmed H in IS-H-MAEL to make him a SOUL-MAN, A B-HORSE-A marked Male of a Lamb.

God named IS-H-MAEL, IS-A-AC(Article-The, on which The Sacrifice was SEALED), IS-RAEL etc.
The Bible told it all in Genesis.

IS-LAM is LAMB OF GOD and means Worship Him(God).

Christianity too means The Righteous and Worship God. Revelation 19:10.

The Book(The Bible) believed by the three Ways of Relationship with God in Abraham told it all in Genesis and Revelation.

The 3 Religions mean "Worship God" by The Covenant on The Blood of the Lamb.

A Lamb was sacrificed. The Lamb is IS meaning Lamb, Man and verb To be, in English Language.

God gave a Lamb to Abraham to be sacrificed and its Blood used in Sealing an Article of Faith, The Covenant of God with Abraham.

God, in His infinite Wisdom, convened The Covenant to make Abraham and his Seeds, from wherever, Worship Him, God.

And so IS=LAMB=MAN=CHRIST=THE FAITH=THE HOPE=GOD OF PEACE=G OD IN LOVE=JUDAISM=ISLAM.

God named IS-H-MAEL, IS-A-AC, IS-SVE, IS-RAEL, and much later IS-LAM.

There is some Intrinsic TRINITY in Islam and Judaism if we understand the meanings of them well.

Both children were born to the same man Abraham through whom God promised to bless humankind.

¤At what time exactly did God asked the Patriac to offer the sacrifice?

¤Is it before Sarah had her own child or after?
Which of the children really matter to Abraham, the wife's or Slave girl's?

¤Which genealogical lineage was preserved through history?

¤Who did God continued dealing with afterwards?

¤Whose descendants was given God's laws?

¤How many prophets were raised from the lineage of each child?

¤Which lineage was known as God's people in the past in both the Bible and Quran?

¤ Which did God told Abraham he will establish his covenant with between the two sons? Genesis 17:18-21
