There are laws that were put in place such as spiritual laws and physical ones e.g gravity etc. A spiritual law is a soul that sins is suppose to die. The only payment for sin is death. And since sin entered the world through Adam, every offspring of Adam has the sin nature. The only one that is not born of a man is Jesus that is why he came as a man to take upon these sins on himself.
You may say why could God not just wish away sin or cancel it but the issue is God set the rule that a soul tha sins will die if he breaks that rule just cos of some people who is he then a just God.

It does not disprove trinity, Jesus was not making a statement, he was asking a question. Asking the man why are do you call me good ?, only God is good. and if you notice the man's next response he calls Jesus master. In the course of Jesus ministry he ususally asks who do you think he is and he is given different answers.
in John 10:30-33 Jesus called himself God and the people around him wanted to stone him, other verses are John 10:27-36 and John 8:56-59.

God sent a part of the 3 to earth to come and die for sins. Its like water existing in 3 forms liquid, gas and solid. Technically they are all forms of water and can be called water. For water it can only exist in these forms one at a time (liquid OR solid OR gas). But in the case of God all 3 exist simultaneously (God the father AND God the Son AND God the Holy Spirit). Jesus just had to come in human flesh that does not mean that is his true heavenly form.
