President Buhari sure knows his onions when he decided to stem corruption in Nigeria. That’s well-proven in his choice of men who manage the key agencies involved in this effort. No one in Nigeria of today doesn’t know about Ibrahim Magu, and his works at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

But aside from Magu, another figure in the president’s anti-corruption fight is Okoi Obono-Obla, the Chairman of the Special Presidential Investigation Panel for the Recovery of Public Property (SPIP). That’s the special panel that hunts for looters, with more administrative powers than sister agencies.
