First-year applicants of Clark University could be eligible for a merit scholarship which admission into the university automatically qualifies you for. These scholarships include the following:
Richard Traina Scholarship: $20,000 renewable each year up to a total of $80,000
Robert Goddard Scholarship: $15,00 renewable each year up to a total of $60,000
Jonas Clark Scholarship: $10,000 renewable each year up to a total of $40,000
If your financial needs are more than the financial aids provided for by these scholarships, you can also apply for grants, loans, and work-study programs through the university.
Requirements for admission into Clark University is an average GPA of 3.66 or a high school result of A's and B's (more A's than B's). The University also requires an SAT score of 1410/ an ACT score of 29-31.
Aside from these automatic scholarships, applicants can also apply separately for two other scholarships within the institution. They include Presidential LEEP Scholarship and Global Scholarship Program. These scholarships are awarded to about 5 applicants each and about 2 of each are international applicants. It covers full tuition, room, and board for 4 years. To apply, you must check that option when applying for admission to the university.
To qualify for these Scholarships, you must not just meet the required academic qualification but exceedthem significantly. You must show outstanding leadership skills, and be required to write 2 essays due by 1st February (topics would be sent to you after application). You must also meet the yearly requirements included in your admission and award letter. Clark University grants admission to about 60% of all applicants and application opens 1st of August.
