I have read Okonjo's book where she stated that some presidential aides blocked her from seeing the president severally for their personal benefit. Same thing with Alison Madueke's interview where she stated that Emir Sanusi was prevented from seeing Johnathan by some aides. I understand your point but understand what I am saying. If you decide to channel all your meetings through the chief of staff, as corrupt as Nigeria is, what is cross checking him from only allowing meetings that favor him. He can be allowed to schedule regular meetings for protocol sake but also make sure your ministers can access you directly in case of a serious issue. Please read okonjo's book and you will understand how some selfish aides and advisers can block out important issues just for their personal gain. Allow your ministers access you, we are not talking about civil servants here, these are people you appointed. This can work in developed countries but Nigeria is too corrupt. Kyari can even prevent a minister from meeting the president simply because he doesn't like his face or because he did not approve a certain contract.
