[size=18pt]Philanthropist donates N27m library to Crescent University [/size]


As part of his corporate social responsibility to the society,Chairman of the Kesington Adebukunola Adebutu Foundation, Sir Kesington Adebutu has donated a N27m well-stocked library to the Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun state.


The library was named after his late mother, Alhaja Seliat Olasimbo Adebutu, to commence a week-long celebration of his 75th birthday.

Adebutu disclosed that his objective of donating the edifice was to encourage academic excellence and self empowerment of the youths through reading and research work in the library.

Responding on behalf of the university, the founder and visitor to the university, Prince Bola Ajibola, described Adebutu as a donor with an active conscience who did not discriminate against anyone. He said he was a man who sometimes gave even when not asked.

Ajibola however, appealed to the students to make the best use of the library to further their academic career so as to become successful in future.

It can never be a public library,According to what d donor had just stated.It's for d UNI only.
But still isn't that too much for just a library as i know there will be lot of things the sum can be spent on or can feed up.
