As the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State prepares for its governorship, alarm has been raised over plans to camping delegates for the election in a secluded area by the executive governor of Kogi State who is seeking reelection, sources also confirmed that the governor has also perfected plans to distribute already purchased attire and the sum of N1m each to delegates.

The Governor who wanted to win the party’s ticket by all possible means have perfected plans to camp the delegates in yet to be disclosed area.

The action was taken out of desperation and fear of losing the primary of the party.

These delegates who never knew the intention of the desperate Governor, will be invited for a meeting but only to be confined and never allowed to go home until after the primary.

Strict measures have also been put in place by the Governor and his cronies to deal with delegates who will not be cooperating, some of them are to be substituted or intimidated into submitting to the wishes of the Governor.

This is to call on all party excos and delegates to be observant and vigilant of any antics aimed at undermining their choice of voting their preferred aspirants as every aspirant has his pocket of delegates that will vote for him during the primary election.”

Cheap bastard

It's saddening and quite demeaning how some of our people(excos) are trading our collective developments for pieces of bread.
Party primaries in Kogi state has always been about money, even in PDP.
