Reacting to the tribunal verdict that saw the removal of his political rival as the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, the embattled Governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello has vowed to defeat any opposition party in the Novemeber 16 guber election in the state.

This was contained in a video released by Dino Melaye on his twitter handle, where the governor was caught on camera addressing some of his aides on the credibility of his party, the All Progressive Congress in the state.

"So, I can assure you that all of us are moving together including the 'two sets'. And the third one is coming by the grace of God; by the way of tribunal and following my (laughs).

"I can assure you that APC is strong in Kogi state and that's why we were able to deliver 25 House of Assembly members in the history of Kogi state."
