The supreme leader of the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi KANU, has ordered the members of the group in the republic of Japan to be on the ground to picket, harass and effect the arrest of the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari when he arrives the country on Sunday.
He said the Nigerian President must be arrested and handed over to Japanese authorities to enable him to answer for his alleged mass murder and crimes against humanity he allegedly committed in Nigeria since 2015.
Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina, had on Friday afternoon informed Nigerians that the President would leave Nigeria for Japan on Sunday to participate in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama from August 28-30, 2019.
But in a statement on Friday evening, the pro-Biafra leader urged its members in the country to mobilize and ensure that they arrest the Nigeria President, stressing they(IPOB) was ready for the legal implications of the action.
The statement which was signed by the group’s spokesman, Comrade Emma Powerful, said the time has come to expose the imposter masquerading as President Buhari in Aso rock.
The group in Germany had last week attacked the former Deputy President of the Senate, Ike Ekweremadu when he visited the country for a new yam festival organized by Igbo’s in Germany.
The statement reads in full:
“The formidable IPOB family in Japan is hereby placed on direct order to ensure the impostor Jubril Al-Sudani, masquerading as the late dictator Mubammadu Buhari, is arrested and handed over to the authorities when he sets foot on Japanese soil. He is not only a fake president, but he is also wanted for mass murder and crimes against humanity for his role in the previous and ongoing genocide in Biafraland.
” Under Japanese law, an impostor is a common criminal and subject to citizens’ arrest. International diplomatic protocol as it relates to visiting heads of state is not applicable in this instance because whoever Abba Kyari is sending to Japan is not the real Buhari. We must make sure he is apprehended and handed over to the police in Japan.
“Any legal fall-out emanating from any confrontation will end up in a Japanese court where we will be able to establish before the world that Jubril is indeed a fake Buhari”
