Well,  though baba is in his old age but come to think of it as a pastor he needs a helping hand emotionally, religiously, spiritually,morally, physically sexually, we all see the remarkable and inmeasurable roles his former wife played in the church all over Africa and outside. He is a man of God and deserves a soul closer to him to carry on. He doesn't need to invite all the media houses in the world for the sake of the marriage. He is a man just like any other person, what makes him different is the spiritual endowment.
   
      This is far better than flirting around with the young innocent girls.
 
      I wish baba happy married life and the strength to carry on his duty as a man of God.

I wonder why people are going against his marriage, even in the bible, God said as long as ur wife or husband is no more u can remarry, so y blaming the man better for him to remarry than doing what will not please God.

I Just saw this thread and my reaction was WTF!!?!

First of all, just after 18 months!!

For a man who showed rather extra-ordinary commitment to his ministry by leaving his ailing wife behind to preach at a crusade, he is showing some rather insensitivity by getting married just 18 months after her death!!

So lets say he mourned her for 12 months. And then he fell in love with this Esther lady sister after that and six months later they are married?! Hmmm! Something just dosent feel right!!

Someone asked why their wives are all dying before them, I have also wondered myself!! Reverend Yomi Isijola of thee Logos Ministries Inc, located in Port-harcourt was once a former member/pastor with the Deeper life assembly, his wife died and barely 14months after, there was a grand wedding ceremony between him and the Lead chorister in the church, yet again people saw nothing wrong in this. Pastor Okotie remarries even though his first wife wasnt dead, a sin according to the bible and yet again, people still found a way of justifying it. Atleast Pastor Odukoya had the restraint to wait 4 years after the death of his wife before remarrying.

How come the wife of Late Bishop Benson Idahosa still hasnt remarried even after over 12 years of his death?! Or her body na firewood?!

I'm just saying that something is just not feeling right about the way and speed with which these MOG's are remarrying!!

A professor, just like any other English word, could be used in different ways. I can however excuse your depth of knowledge, because English is not your mother's tongue. However, the problem with a typical Nigerian is "he does not know, yet he doesn't know that he does not know' How do you teach such?

In the Nigerian University system, it is clearly defined what a professor is. No Nigerian lecturer can claim to be or recognised as a professor because in portugal a lecturer is a professor. Pst kumuyi and Adeboye were in the Nigerian University system not American/portugese/spanish universities.

No offence but this is as st.upid as calling Mr Henry Odein Ajumogobia (the Nigerian Foreign Minister) The Nigerian Secretary of State.

Its not by force to be a professor. Be truthful to yourselves, in the Nigerian Educational System, a lecturer is a lecturer and a prof is a prof.

Pastor Kumuyi was actually awarded an HONORARY Profesor in 2007 in a university of theology somewhere in U.S.
