I have had this saying many a time. Some say thinking too much put someone in the risk of been hypertensive. They say thinking makes the heart pump blood faster. Well this may sound so, but medically, it isn't.

It is a situation whereby the systolic pressure is over 150mm and the diastolic pressure is over 95mm.

The real cause of hypertension is the consumption of cholesterol base foods. When you eat a lot of fat base food, the fat accumulate in the body system. when we consume animal products, the fat collect into the arterial walls of the heart. The accumulated fats on the arterial walls of the heart starts to narrow the arteries, this in turn causes the heart to pump harder in order to push the blood through all the crud and at the same time, elevates the blood pressurre which in turn result in hypertension.

The solution is a shift from fat, cholesterol and meat based diet to plant based diet. Diet rich in apple, cabbage, lettuce, carrot, garlic, ginger, guava, lemon, raw onion, pineapple, Irish potato, soybeans product, intake of raw tomato juice with all manner of vegetables will be of great help and importance.
