Four people have been feared killed and 12 others missing in the aftermath of Boko Haram attack on a town in the northern part of Borno State.

Boko Haram struck at remote Gajiram, headquarters of Ngazai Local Government Area of the state at the weekend, firing heavy artillery into the town, security sources said. It was the third attack on the town by the insurgents this year

“The attack occurred at about 8.20pm. The insurgents came in 4-wheel vehicles, looted houses and shops, carted away foodstuffs and livestock,” a local government official, who preferred anonymity, told Daily Sun.

The source also said the insurgents burnt some of the vehicles at the local government secretariat. Four people were killed while the insurgents fired sporadically.

If I may ask, are you in the military? I have not benefited from them but they have do a lot in terms of infrastructure, most especially COAS and CAS. We also have Senior military officers involve in terrorism, but it's not easy to fish them out. These BH guys are well trained Rebels with sophisticated weapons. If BH plan on attacking a location, it takes the Grace of God
for over power them. Like I said earlier, I'm taking from experience.

Asuming we are on the same page, you have a particular radius covered and secured, intel planted outside your perimeter, with skeletal patrols outside your location as the first line of defense, how is it possible for your base to be conviniently attacked with proper measures in place, there are strategies frm our security agencies, we pay heavily for intel, but it seams teh intel is insufficient and no synergy, truth be told the current strategy is failing, the BH are adapting while we are not improvising ,now you see why i blame the security hierarchy
