The popular cleric took to Twitter yesterday to criticize the burqa, a long, loose garment women by women, more commonly in Islamic countries. The cleric claims those who subject their wives to the burqa or women who don them suffer from psychological or mental illnesses, and advised them to see a doctor.

Tweeps, however, reacted and many Muslim folks strangely agreed with the controversial cleric.

One guy up there said “This is mobile prison” and I think I agree with that .
