A video surfaced online with Jidenna speaking about why Nigerians are getting involved in online scams.

American-Nigerian rapper, Jidenna, in a recent interview with the Breakfast Club reveals why he thinks Nigerian are getting more involved in online scam. According to him, Nigerians are smarter than a lot of people and that is the same energy they put into other areas, that’s why you see a lot of them doing well in other fields as well. His utterances has stirred a lot of mixed reactions on social media.

what he said may sound bizzare but true.

Many people in Nigeria and precisely here in west who over-react when Ibo guys commit crime involving large amount of money do so because of jealousy and not because crime is bad. many of them have criminal tendencies and wish they were the ones making such money. I know my people.

Every ethnic group have criminals. There are Ibo guys into crime and there are very many of our people involved in crime albeit not successful to attract significant attention. most trusted people I deal with here in osogbo are Ibos.

we must seriously rise to condemn crime for what is and not for petty reasons that some are more successful. That's crazy!
