It seems like this month is that of snakes, how many snake posts have I seen this month on nairaland, just today a python was killed in a compound adjacent to mine, it swallowed the man's dog.

Thank God it was not a child that was swallowed. I've a phobia for all species of snake. But i still love watching well made documentary on them. Just don't want to encounter any.

boss, wont it be better to prevent them from entering your poultry farm in the first place? This may be costly though. I just feel sorry for these snakes. Just trying to keep body and soul together.

On the other hand, look at the bright side, selling these snakes is a good side income and it more than makes up for the loss of your chicks.

I guess it is true that once you start a poultry, there is every possibility of attracting various snakes....few weeks ago it was a cobra, now a python and unfortunately, it had swallowed 2 of our 5 turkeys and killed one of the turkey sitting on it egg
