Xisnin:

You lied.
Falana is a human rights lawyer. He is not a career protester.
Aside from him joining the protest against fuel hike which was a specific issue that affected
all Nigerians.
Can you show me other street protests he leads or participated in?
Even the legendary Fawehinmi was more of a lawyer in court than a protester on the street.
So as a human rights lawyer, what has he done about the plethora of gross human rights abuses of the buhari government aside mouthing off at book launches and TV shows?

Are there no issues currently with the fuel issue he took to the streets for?

They do all the time.
However, fanatics offer unconditional support whether the person is now a terrorist, mad man,
psychotic or plain evil. Fanatism is the common thread to Neo-nazis, Boko haram and Ipob members.
These groups vary widely in ideology, but they are all fanatics ready to destroy everything to achieve their
delusional utopia.

For example, if kanu asks Ipob members to slaughter their parents to
achieve Biafra, they will gladly do it without questioning.

Before you think this is farfetched, remember the Jonestown killings. It only took an instruction
from the "leader" for the followers to end their lives.

Now, who do you think would be a good member of Jone's cult?
A Falana who speaks up when something goes wrong
or the brainwashed Ipob members with absolute loyalty to "director"

Reasonable n educated people who have a functional brain do not offer their support for tyrants.

What can he do alone? A tree cannot make a forest...he needs support and that's why he's calling on the NBA. Let us learn to appreciate those who speak out, even if they supported the government at a time, there is no harm in withdrawing the support once they realised their error!

By your words you seem not to understand that Mr. Femi Falana supported, aided and abetted in making Buhari the president. He did this knowing very well Buhari"s story as a military ruler. When Buhari lost the election in 2007 , Mr. Falana challenged the then PDP government. The bottom line: he should be quiet, with all due respect.

It is funny how things play out.

We feed, clothe and nurture our body and it grows, flourishes and remain Strong even though the body is temporal.... It decays in a matter of months with serious offensive smell.

The Human Soul that is eternal is however neglected.

Many souls are weak, naked and miserable because we feed it with poisons.

What are you feeding your souls with? Nude pictures?

Immoralities? hatred? Malice? and all unrighteousness.

If your answer is yes, You are very vulnerable in the spiritual world.... eternity awaits your miserable soul.

The remedy is to allow God, through his son, feed your soul with his righteousness and holiness.

You can be holy no matter how terrible you are now..

Holiness is of God and nothing is impossible with him.

Accept Jesus, he is waiting to cleanse you. Your sins are not bigger than the blood of the lamb.

Accept Jesus as your savior today and he feeds your soul into eternal rest.

Jesus loves you.

First, he doesn't owe you anything and you don't pay him a dime.
You don't choose for him what he should do or not do and his records speak for him.
I am assuming you are not one of his clients or a political prisoner.

If someone asked you what you have done about the poverty-stricken people in your community,
what would you say?

The mere existence of people like Falana puts pressure on government excess.

If you want someone to engage the government in a gun duel or go on a rampage in public, then
you should look elsewhere.

Show me a link where falana supported buhari. If challenging pdp means supporting buhari then I have no word for you b

There is no law that says you can't change your opinion on someone or something...the worst thing is to realise your error and continue to wallow in it.

You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending

Lol @gun duel. He had better watch his steps cos those he's dealing with don't take prisoners.

Agreed absolutely. But remember in our country what goes up stays up and never gets down. That is why we are where we are today with hypocritical leaders.
Remember the saying that you cannot change the goal post in the middle of the game?

The late Chuba Okadigbo once stated that he had read "the political barometer and done the arithmetics". Our leaders never read the handwriting clearly on the wall.
Falana sentimentally followed Buhari forgetting that in the 80s, alongside the great Chief Gani Fawehinmi, they battled Buhari over the infamous decree 2. They fought and lost the battle for the life of Batholomew Owoh over the cocaine case. Tiger abi leopards as they say never change their skins. Nothing changed in the man since the 80s. So if the liked of Mr. Femi Falana supported Buhari to become the president, then they must live with the outcome.
