To be sincere, some governors, presidents past and present are suppose to be on the wanted persons list.

Even the person that declared them wanted name is suppose to be on that list.

Is that Ngozi not the same person that contested for governor of Delta State? She lost the primaries though.

Leave them alone indeed. People like pensioners, workers are suffering because of this mentality of leaving them alone. So unfortunate

The best 11 or should I say the best 10 of the Nigerian underworld.

And they all have one thing in common. Financial crime.

Not one of them is wanted for anything else other than financial crime{except I missed something}.

I've seen lists of most wanted criminals in other parts of the world and to be honest this has got to rank tops in terms of monotony. A very predictable list at best. No variety whatsoever. sad

To think I ran in here just to see this...

Money is at heart of most crimes in Nigeria. Most wanted criminals in orher countries are usually wanted for violent crimes. If only Nigerians can curb excessive their greed, we will be living in paradise.

How will Nigeria move forward as a nation when we award people with questionable character outrageous contracts. I don't know why and how government award people contract without screening them. And besides what is the motive awarding one person billions of naira and making him accessible to such amount without checks.
You put billions of naira cash in the care of one person in exchange of service and you expect that person to deliver without appropriate checks
Most painful aspect of it is that they would never give such huge contracts to those shady characters/companies if it were their personal funds and personal investment; and without those proper checks you talked about. This shows it's a deliberate action to waste and squander our nation's resources.

So what do we do with this list now? Leave our jobs and initiate a nationwide manhunt for them? Or memorize their names, so that our bank accounts would increase

Well. I know the aim of threads like this... Drive traffic from the ethnic banter that would ensue between the three "so- called" majority groups.

Nairaland and the mods are playing with fire!
Keep propagating hate for click revenue.

Loads and loads of educative topic are lying fallow in the science and tech. section... But the mods always prefer to push topics that would propagate hate to FP.

Why do we always dwell on our problems instead of finding ways to create solutions.
Cant nairaland create a section for whistle-blowing? Or a section where people can drop ideas for the government to implement for good governance?
Are you a Nigerian at all? Were you not troubled by all these allegations against people who are stealing our common wealth and driving our youths to cyber crimes and prostitution and smearing our names abroad.
And even if any Of NL members comes up with any feasible idea beyond computer related projects which bank will finance it for you in this country, or where will you get the uninterrupted power to drive the idea until realisation?
It is better we are informed of the terrible abyss the country has fallen into to enable us know that the best solution is the EVENTUAL DISSOLUTION OF THE COUNTRY to allow each integral region seeks for swift economic and financial progress and development.

Get yourself some education. There are only two Igbos on that list, anyway I don't blame you because when South South commit crime they will automatically become Igbos before your eyes but when Igbos count them as Biafran you will started panicking and will be lecturing all and sundry on why South South are not Biafra.

Yes am a Nigerian and yes I am concerned about the massive looting going on.
The theft of our commonwealth is not entirely responsible for the illegal ventures being engaged by our youths, but greed. Even those that have been opportuned to leave the shores of this country to places where one can honestly earn a living and enjoy the best of life are still there doing fraud and prostituting. Majority of Nigerians in Turkey, Malaysia, Cyprus etc. today are into fraudulent activities. They even laugh at their fellow Nigerians who are engaged in menial jobs and call them "dull guys".

Now how does this news change anything?
Wouldn't you have felt better if you were reading about someone's suggestion on how the public service can be improved upon through a more sophisticated ICT structure or suggestions on how we can reduce financial misappropriation through a more efficient audit system?

These ills exist almost everywhere, but countries that strive in the midst of these ills are those that spend time seeking ways to tackle identified problems rather than dwell on the problems without sourcing out ways to solve them.

And also, the motive behind the news here is of great importance. Nairaland mods are aware that these threads enjoy more patronage because it serves as a breeding ground for hate speech, ethnic wars and banters. That's why they always push it to the frontpage. How does this solve anything?
