Just recently, it came to public knowledge that top officers of the army were irregularly diverting huge volumes of cash meant for war operations to personal havens. It appears this war has become a gold mine for some people hence the protracted conflict. It appears there is dwindling interest to end this war while the expendable lives of children of the poor continue to be needlessly wasted. Time shall tell...
