Oha Soup!
From the Eastern part of the Country.
Its my favorite anyday, anytime,
Can be taken with any swallow,
Enjoy!

how do u prepare it ?

its not tat diffcult, mostly like how bitter leave soup is prepared
just substitute the Bitter leave for oha leaves.
Ingredeients:
1. Oha Leaves
2. Palm oil
3. Cocayam Paste
4. Meat, Smoked-Fish and stockfish
5. Maggi
6. Grounded fresh pepper & Crayfish
7. Shredded onions
8. salt to taste
9. locust bean(ogiri) (optional)
10. Ofcourse Water

How to prepare:
first, wash your stock fish and put in a pot, allow to boil .
then add ur already washed meat and allow to simmer for a while
before adding your shredded onion,
maggi, palmoil, locust bean(optional) and of salt to taste.
when the meat is a bit tender, add your cocoyam paste
and allow to boil ,
You can add a lil more water at this stage.
The paste will gradually dislove to thicken the broth.
then add your grounded fresh pepper and crayfish while still boiling.
stir at inverval to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pot.
then lastly, add the shredded Oha leaves to the pot
Stir, and allow to simmer for some minutes.
then Turn the heat down .
And your Oha Soup is ready!

The main problem with preparing uha soup is getting fresh uha leaves.
