The South African parliament is a comedy club. Two minsters, Minister Mbalula and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took on each other over how to pronounce Professor Wole Soyinka's name. They both got it wrong but it was hilarious.

The transport minister Fikile Mbalula pronounced Soyinka's name wrongly and one of the parliamentarians, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, had to call him to order. He noted that he will not allow the minister progress with his presentation on the floor of the house until he gets the pronunciation of the name of the African literary giant correctly.

The minister had pronounced Wole Soyinka as Wholesoyinka. Ndlozi stopped him midway saying: "It is not Whole Soyinka, African scholars must be respected. A whole transport minister, transporting wrong information
