Meet the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD, the full mid-size car that gives you a mix of luxury and performance.

This is a new edition of the Toyota Avalon. We in Nigeria, are also going to be welcome the TRD edition of the Toyota Avalon for the first time.

“TRD” means Toyota Racing Development, an in-house tuning shop for all Toyota, Lexus and formerly Scion cars. TRD is responsible both for improving street cars for more performance and supporting Toyota’s racing interests (such as NASCAR, Super GT Series, etc) around the world.

Exterior: The front of the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD, has an aggressive look, you will find a tangential vents on the sides of its front bumper, an available rear spoiler and an Adaptive variable Suspension.

You can feel the adrenaline when you rev the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD because of the sound coming from her polished cat-back dual exhaust.

On the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD, there is a 19-inch matte black wheels with a complementary red-painted brake calipers. There is also a TRD logo on the wheels.
The rear has a sport design. You will notice her angular break light, Toyota badge and TRD name at the back.

Interior: Inside the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD, you will find a portable steering wheel, a digital display, a nice leather on the arm rest, an infotainment System with Apple car play and JBL premium audio system. It also has up to four cup holders inside: two in front and two at the back. Those at the back will first have to pull down the arm rest to make use of this feature.

The 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD has a well designed front and rear fitted seats with TRD badge stamp on them. The vehicle can take up to 5 persons. There is also plenty of leg room to stretch with lots of cargo space at the boot, a generous AC vent for everyone, up to 5 USB ports at front and rear occupants, to charge your devices inside this car.

Engine & Performance: The 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD has auto-transmission. It comes with a 3.5L V6 engine that gives out 301 horsepower, 267 pound feet of torque and a Sport-exclusive sound from the exhaust. The car, thanks to its suspension and this makes this car to slide through bends with much balance.

There are 3 different drive modes; Eco, Normal and Sport. If you want to have a taste of a car in Nigeria, you can activate the sport mode on and you zoom off.

Standard Toyota Safety Sense:
The 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD comes with standard Toyota Safety sense that makes you drive more comfortable without compromising safety. The standard Safety sense feature in this vehicle include: Pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control and automatic high beams.

Others are: Adaptive cornering lights and bird eye view camera with perimeter scan, intelligent clearance sonar with rear cross-traffic braking, blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, star safety system, no cost maintenance plan and roadside assistance.

Pricing:
The 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD cost around $46,000 (N15,560,000), excluding landing costs, which is more expensive than the 2020 Camry. There also going to be a high performer hybrid version of the 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD.
