If you want a country with easy admission and visa, check the UK.

If you want a country where you can easily get a second passport, check Canada.

If you want a country with plenty scholarships, check the USA.

If want a country with free education, check Germany and Iceland.

Here's a STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO SEARCH, APPLY, AND WIN MULTIPLE SCHOLARSHIPS ABROAD👇

Kindly repost - Someone on your timeline needs this information🔁

1. Use www.4icu.org to get list of Top 100 universities in your preferred study destination (USA, Canada, UK etc). 4icu.org for global search, and www.USNews.com specifically for American universities.

2. Trim the list by removing the universities that don’t offer your program.

3. Keep downsizing the list using some of the following needs:
(a) Scholarship availability (Assistantships/Funding)
(b) GRE/GMAT and English proficiency requirements (do you want these waived or not?)
(c) Application fee waivers.
(d) Research interest (is there a professor in this university doing your kind of research?)
(e) Internal grants: Grad school is tough; you need financial support, among other needs.

4. Cold Email (Optional): Contact professor(s) whom you’d like to work with. This is a marketing process - sell yourself

5. READ the admission REQUIREMENTS page and get the following ready:
(a) Statement of Purpose (SoP)
(b) Academic CV
(c) Unofficial transcript
(d) Recommendation Letters: contact your lecturers early - avoid rush hour🙏

6. Work towards getting application fee waivers by attending Open House events or by simply requesting for them.

7. Start submitting your applications: Usually, applications open fully from October till school resumes in August. However, priority deadlines are between December and early February.

8. Wait for feedbacks from admission committees (WARNING, HBP is real).

9. Attend interviews (for schools that require it, especially PhD programs).

10. You’ll get either an ACCEPTANCE or a REJECTION. If accepted, bravo. If rejected, wait for other offers. If the offer isn’t fully-funded, discuss your chances of getting funding with the program Director.

11. If the Director or Coordinator of your program can’t help, reach out to professors doing your kind of research (this is where cold email works). If you’ve been in touch with them before this moment, ask if they have a Research Assistantship offer for you.

This has worked for a lot of persons especially in the U.S. scenario.

12. If your offer is a fully-funded one, bravo!

13. Show proof of funding and request for immigration documents (e.g., Form I-20 for USA).

14. Apply for study visa (pay SEVIS and visa application fees, get an appointment with the embassy, get your visa approved- in the USA scenario).

15. Fly to your study destination.

I have an education conference to attend in Ireland and the deadline is fast approaching. I would appreciate if a good Samaritan can help cover some of the registration fee, visa and flight ticket, which is about 1k euros. I will really appreciate it as I'm a teacher who is passionate about education. I also want to upskill so that I add value to my students and society. It's 1k euros, thanks. I also have proof of the conference invitation as speaker. Thank you.

Amidst the current situation in Nigeria, relying solely on 'Japa' (emigration) may not be the ultimate solution.
Instead, focusing on acquiring high-earning skills such as Forex trading, Cryptocurrency trading, Stock trading, Software development (including Cloud computing, DevOps, IT security, Data Analyst, etc.), and exploring other dollar-earning opportunities can be a more effective approach to navigate the challenges.

Software Development: Delve into the realm of software development, including Cloud computing, DevOps, IT security, Data Analyst, and more, to build valuable and in-demand skills.

By focusing on developing these high-earning skills and exploring dollar-earning opportunities while in Nigeria, individuals can empower themselves economically and face the present situation with resilience and adaptability.
