Sleeping around does not get you any award and does not make anybody look better in the society. It is as degrading as it sounds; any person indulging in it is simply dragging their lives slowly to the graves. It is like a sickness that can affect both men and women. I guess the guilt is kind of more on the woman than on the man due to nature.

When I think of the word PROSTITUTION, my mind picture sees a woman selling her body directly or indirectly to survive. It is a very degrading trade invented by women to take advantage of men they lure with their scent of attraction.

If there is any upgrade to be made, it has to be made by women themselves, if they don’t give up their stuff too quick, I don’t think men will sleep around.

As for equality, it is something you have to earn, it is not a gift and you just can’t negotiate it. There are lots of women doing big things, we just need to see more of that and things will change.

Babagana, I'm glad you raised the question, and I don't think your motives were to gain favor from women. I think that people, esp men, would find it unusual because it negatively affects women, not men, so most of them are not directly impacted and therefore would usually show little concern.
I don't think it's ok when either a man or a woman are promiscuous, I think the problem comes from society. A woman is judged more harshly, and even though it's really men who are dictating this, women are the ones who accept it. If more women rejected men who were promiscuous, those men wouldn't have the upper hand that they do now. A man is more likely to admit to having many previous partners because many women will accept it even if they don't like it. We don't have to accept something because we are told to, and promiscuity is counted in that.
I can't remember who, but someone said something about equality not being a right, that it has to be earned. That's not true. People who hold power didn't earn that power, it was given to them. A prime example is discrimination. Do blacks not deserve the same rights as whites? Whites don't want to give up the power so they oppress blacks, but that doesn't mean it's right.

Life is short, sex is great... but this is a mans world. Women historically have found they end up with the short end of the stick, more of the risk and less of the pleasure, so they opt for something else.
