The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal presided over by Justice Jennifer Ijohor, Thursday, September 5, upheld the election of Senator Bassey Albert representing Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District in the 9th Senate.

In addition, the Tribunal also upheld the elections of Hon Unyime Idem representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency and Nse Ekpenyong representing Oron/Udung Uko/Urueffong Oruko/Mbo/Okobo Federal Constituency.

While i applaud the tribunal's decision concerning the senatorial polls,i disagree with that of oron federal seat.victor antai of apc won it clearly and proved it at the tribunal.i hope the appeal court xan upturn it
