Since inception, Women in ICT have empowered over 1, 275 Women and Girls in the field of Information, Networks and Communication Technology. They work with civil societies, law enforcement agencies and academia to identify and create technology solutions that disrupt and combat the menace of Unemployment, Gender inequality, Internet fraud, Rapes, Domestic violence, Sexual molestation and Human trafficking.

Women in ICT invest in programs that support Women and girls through technological innovation, education, collaboration, guidance and shared resources.
By launching Women in ICT officially, it is hope that they will continue to provide thousands of women the opportunities to learn in-demand skills in technology; an essential tool for surviving in the 21st century. Computing is where the jobs are — and where they will be in the future.

Women in ICT is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on providing technology education for women and young girls. We envision a world where women are proportionally represented as technical leaders, executives, founders, VCs, board members, and software engineers. Encouraging young girls to pursue courses in this area and women to pursue careers in the ICT industry is not only a matter of social justice or increasing diversity but an economic necessity.

The inauguration will take place in October 24th, 2019.

It will be a worldwide gathering of Scientists, Security Officials, Government Agencies, Politicians, Ambassadors, Founders, Industry leaders, Advocates, Human rights activist, Entrepreneurs, Investors, Developers, Innovators, Executives, State governors and Experts to identify issues related to the changing scenarios of the modern world.

It’s large international participation will provide excellent opportunities for global sharing of technology, expertise, best practices and valuable new professional contacts from around the world. More than 500 participants are expected to attend.
