they are not as brutal within the south east. It's their normal check points in the south east. They just ask for your license and all that but they are brutal along that ore/asaba axis. They are out for blood there. Na wao.

they know what is going on. You think customs officials will just leave our bothers and then mount road blocks inside the country to extort money from citizens without their oga knowing about it? i know but the airport closure has sort tripled the check points.

If Nigeria is restructured so that every region will have some kind of autonomy like we have in Scotland, Hong Kong and Catalan...people will build their own airports to any standard they desire. They will have their own police the way they would want it. But seeing what we have in a unitary federal government is very painful and will alienate the Igbos further away from the conscience of Nigeria.

Even if there is monitoring patrol team they only concern about collecting bribe from check points.
